Multi-layered covers for the German cross-stitch magazine 'Burda'

Black laserprint on transparent mica's

The concept of these covers is all about their multi-layered character. The goal is to collect a serie of 3 magazines to complete an entire cross-stitch pattern. Each cover consists of 3 transparent mica's on which a certain part of the pattern is printed, and looks rather abstract then figurative. The moment you put em all on top of eachother you get to see a pattern of robots and you're all set to start cross-stitching.
